Bath was established as a post office on 05 Feb 1879 and discontinued 21 November 1879. The first postmaster was William Dobbie. William Dobbie settled in Sand Creek township about 1877, so it is likely that this post office was located at/near his home site but this is just assumption, not documented. Bell was established as a post office on 25 June 1879 and discontinued 02 May 1884. Norman C. Workman was the first postmaster. It was located approximately at the SE corner of Sec 12, Twp 2 S, Range 25 W. The Bell post office was moved and renamed Rockwell City on 02 May 1884.
