There is no Klentz or gay. However there is a Moorman, A S page 243. You may be interested in this book. It says as follows: Andrew S. Moorman was born at Columbus, Ohio , Feb. 28. 2844, He moved to Washington County when he was 8 years old. He enlisted in the 7th Iowa infantry , company H, July 15, 1861, and went with Sherman to the sea. He was in the battles of Corinth, Pittsburg Landing, Fort Donaldson, Lay's Ferry, Atlanta. Savanah, and Kenesaw. He was mustered out July 12, 1865. He was married to Naoma L. Moore at Washington, Iowa, december 24, 1866. He came to Kansas in the Spring of 1879 and located in Garfield township. They have 5 children. L Bertrand, James M, Minnie E, Willie E and Carl C. Minnie was married to L B doolittle January 30, 1891. L Moorman the eldest son taught school for several years and was for a time traveling salesman for a St Louis house.
