And that Jess was born 1875 at son of Harry Lyons a widow born in Indiana . He had son Alva 1866 daughter Bessis 1868 son Eddy 1870 and Jessee born Kansas in 1873. The other children were born in Indiana I don't know about places at all in Kansas however there was a D l Lyon 29 and his wife Ida B Lyon that had son L F Lyon;Jessee F Lyon; Garace M Lyon and son Leslie Lyon at Fall River Greeenwood Montana according to family search 1880 cenus That Jessee would be born in 1875 Hopefully that helps you.
