He is shown in his grandmother Sarah's obituary 1912 as living in Chanute KS. His parents were Louis/Lewis E. and Temperance Turley. The only other mention I can find of this family is the 1880 U.S. census where E.C. is 9 years old and the family is listed by initial only.
