My husband's paternal ancestor, William Fredrick GIBSON (born 30 SEP 1839 in Attica, Fountain Co., IN and died 4 SEP 1928 near Thayer, KS) is buried there per family stories.. I would think that his second wife, Sarah E. Price b. 17 Jan 1850 in Rensselau, Jasper Co. Indiana (m. 1 Sept 1872). She died 29 Jul 1932 in Thayer, KS. is buried there also.. My husband's line is from Wm Fredrick Gibson's first wife, Margaret "Lucy" Custer (b.Sept 1841, IND-d. 1872 Crescent City, Illinois.)Their eldest son, John Edwin Gibson and wife Mary Elizabeth Stroud are my husband's gggrandparents.
