    3. Would the Chanute Tribune have been printed in the 1890's? If not then would there have been a paper printed? I'm looking for information about the death of Louisa HARDING who was killed by lightening ca 1895 on the family farm about 1 mile south of Chanute. The bolt of lightening came down the chimney and struck the child. Thank You, Viola vemmec@global101.com

    3. Viola, The Kansas State Historical Society holds nearly all Kansas newspapers on microfilm. Click on the link below and search on "Chanute" for the range of years you want to check, say 1890-1900, and you will find several newspapers for that time period: http://www.kshs.org/library/news.htm Once you find what you want, you can order it via interlibrary loan. They have complete instructions on the website. Good luck! Ginger ------------- > Would the Chanute Tribune have been printed in the 1890's?
