This is my first posting. I have 3 separate and UNRELATED families that were all living in Chetopa, Neosho Co., KS. #1. Mr. William Keller and wife Rachel Purvis married in MO, but later moved to Kansas. They had 4 sons: Thomas Jefferson Keller, John G. Keller, Jim D. Keller and William M. Keller. Rachel Purvis Keller died on Sept. 13, 1875 in Chetopa, KS. I would like to find her burial spot if possible. #2. In the household of Elisha Sapp 43 b. IL, in the 1880 census at Chetopa , Neosho Co., KS 2 brothers working as farm hands: Hans Hansen 38 yrs, b. Denmark both parents born Denmark Neils Hansen 36 yrs., b. Denmark, both parents born Denmark. These 2 brothers ended up in Oregon and I have data on them there, but I am curious if they may have married while in KS. #3. 1880 census at Chetopa, Neosho Co., KS J. H. Stewart 50 yrs, b. IN Farmer parents b. OH Marie E. 42 yrs, b. IN Father b.IN mother OH Otis Monroe 16 yrs, b. IN both parents b. IN step-son to J.H. A. Monroe 11 yrs, b. IN both parents born IN step-son to J.H. Eddie Stewart 8yrs, b. IN both parents born IN son to J.H. This is Marie E. Appleton and her second husband. I wish to know what happened to her first husband Jacob Monroe? I would also like to find info on this entire family. This is all I have so far. Otis Monroe later married Della Mae Hogan from Barry Co., MO. I have alot of info on him and his descendants. If you are related to or have info about the burial spots or families of these people I would love to correspond with you. I will gladly share what information I have so far on all these people.
