D 2 West Va. Cav. and Susan 1842-1920 Wife. They are buried in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery which is 3 miles north of Stark and is in Grant Twp. I checked for an obituary in the Chanute Tribune and did not find one. This Cemetery is located 1/2 mile south of the Allen County line and 3 miles west of the Bourbon County line. You may try Fort Scott in Bourbon County for an obit or Erie newspaper in Neosho County.

Surnames: Dixon, Wisecarver Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fm.2ADI/349 Message Board Post: Henry Dixon and his wife, Susan Wisecarver Dixon were living in Grant Township, Neosho County, KS as of the 1910 Federal Census. According to a researcher online elsewhere, they were buried in the Savonburg Cemetery, Stark, KS, but the researcher did not record the dates of death for either Henry or his wife. I seek his (and her) date of death, but most importantly I wish to find his obituary, if one would have been published, and hers, of course. She filed a widow's pension application on February 12, 1918, so he must have died soon before that. Grateful for any help. Gerald Hobson gdhobgen@aol.com

What about the records of the undertaker? Please try once more. I'm sorry for the inconvenience I was to you. Great granddaughter, Gwen Gieson
