There was only one daughter in the family of 8 children. Her name was Anna Marie. Her mother's name was Marie Antoinette Haymaker Hess.     3. Hi Lister's, Would anyone have excess to Obit's. in Chanute, Neosho CO. KS.? For Verda Zoe Carpenter Bair (any spelling of Bair?) who died 04 Dec. 1930 in the Johnson Hospital in Chanute, KS. Apparently taken to Chanute from Princeton KS. for cancer surgery and died while there. Appreciate any information on Verda Bair's death. This Lucy McPEAK (1872-1958) was the daughter of Luther B. McPEAK (1831 to 1877-1880, Rosseau, Morgan Co., OH) & Elizabeth SMITH (1836-) THE ZANESVILLE SIGNAL Saturday, July 5, 1958: MORGAN CO. NATIVE DIES IN KANSAS-McConnelsville-Mrs. Lucy CALVERT, 85, of Chanute, Kansas, a former resident of Morgan Co., died at her home Thursday afternoon. She was born in Morgan county and lived there until 1952 when she moved to Kansas. She was a member of The Church of Christ. She was the widow of Ira CALVERT who died in 1931. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lena EVERY, of Chanute, Mrs. Mary TRIPLETT, of Akron, and Mrs. Isabelle OSBORNE of St. Augustine, Fla; and six grand-children. The body is at the MILLER funeral home here where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Evangelist J.C. ROADY officiating. Burial will be in the McConnelsville Cemetery. Would like to correspond with anyone searching any of these folks. I can share Morgan Co., OH & McPEAK info.

She was raised Catholic so I thought that might give me a lead. He name was Elizabeth Hartley married Peter McCormick. They had three daughters, Florence, Mary Elizabeth (Mame), and Ann. He met and married Nettie Daniels - had daughter Vera Ione in the county - however all later history seems to be in Douglas county MO. Our Daniels family had extensive history in the Neosho; however, not sure why he was returned there for burial since his mother was purportedly buried in Ava, MO.
