She & James were rumored to have married in Carroll County, Missouri, although I do not have any proof of the marriage. James Stephenson's parents were David & Louisa Temple (Griffith) Stephenson, who were married on 09-21-1856, in Nodaway County, Missouri, and they were my gr-gr-grandparents. David is buried in the Bellemont Cemetery, near Wathena, in Doniphan County, Ks. Louisa, per her death certificate, is buried in the Summit Cemetery in Lawrence County, near Mount Vernon, Missouri. However, there is no record of he burial. Rumor has it that she died while visiting a brother, John F. Griffith, who lived near there.
