Hello. Concerning the Nemaha County records PRIOR to 1885. The Early Records were put in the Poor Farm Home while the New Courthouse was being built. Then these old records were just left to rot. No-one bothered with them, and now they are lost. Sorry to be the bearer of such news.. but that is the truth of it.
