I've "rescued" an old photograph of Roy DILLINGHAM of Padonia, Kansas. There is no studio or location indicated on the photograph, though it appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Roy likely in his teens at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Roy and his family: William Roy DILLINGHAM was b. in 1883 in Hiawatha, KS and married Ella May BENNER (b. 1884 near Hamlin, KS) on 2 Sept 1908. Together they had three children including, Helen Frances; Arthur Benner; and William Roy DILLINGHAM all born between 1911 and 1915. William's wife Ella May died 24 Jul 1915. DILLINGHAM, dau, age 3, born Nov 1896, born KS Emma REYNOLDS, grandmother, age 85, born Jun 1814, a widow, 5 children/2 living, born IN, parents born NY 1910 census of Solomon Township, KS: William R. DILLINGHAM, age 26, married 1 year, born KS, parents born MO/England, a Doctor Ellen M. DILLINGHAM, wife, age 25, married 1 year, born KS, parents born IA/KS 1920 census of Sabetha, KS: Wm R. DILLINGHAM, age 36, born KS, parents born IN/England, a Doctor Ada DILLINGHAM, wife, age 36, born KS, parents born OH/IN Helen DILLINGHAM, dau, age 8, born KS Arthur DILLINGHAM, son, age 6, born KS William R.
