FREDERICK of Chanute, received cuts on one leg and one foot Tuesday at Chanute, when struck by a motor car driven by George WILSON of Thayer. Mrs. Bertie Mae JOHNSON, colored, received cuts and bruises at Chanute Tuesday afternoon when struck and knocked down by a motor car. Rural Route 5 from Columbus postoffice will be consolidated with Route 2 and 4, effective Mayh 31. On that date Orlando E. PENCE, Route 1 carrier, and James G. BOWSER, carrier on Route 6, will be retired after thirty years service, and carriers will be reassigned.
