    3. The Coffeyville Daily Journal Montgomery County Saturday May 20, 1933 W.H. M'Ginnis Is Dead. Resident Here Thirty-Five Years Succumbs in Wichita Hospital Following Operation. William H. McGINNIS, who came here thirty-five years ago from El Dorado, Kan., where he was born and reared, died yesterday afternoon in a Wichita hospital, following a major operation. Death directly attributed to uremic poisoning. Mr. McGinnis was about 65 years of age. Besides his widow, who accompanied him to Wichita last Saturday, Mr. McGinnis is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harold DECKER, Conroe, Tex., and a son, Noble McGinnis, San Francisco, Calif., and his mother, Mrs. CASE, at El Dorado. About two years after he came here and while employed by the Wells Bros. Commerical company, McGinnis married Miss Estelle McCORMICK, on April 7, 1901. Later he was in the wall paper business and in 1906 took a position with the Coffeyville Furniture company, where he was employed until 1929. For the past year and one-half he has been employed in the furniture department of Sears, Roebuck and company. The McGinnis home here is at 607 West Sixth street. Funeral services, friends here have been advised, are to be held at El Dorado, with burial there. No word has been received concerning the time of the services. Coffeyville Daily Journal Monday May 22, 1933 McGinnis Funeral Tomorrow. Funeral services for William H. McGINNIS of Coffeyville who died in a Wichita hospital last week, will be conducted at the Bird funeral home in El Dorado at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be at El Dorado, former home of Mr. McGinnis.
