He was the first settler of the town of Pardee, Kansas (Oct. 1854). Caleb died in Eustis, FL in 1888 (death date unknown). His wife (Margaret Parnell May) also died in Eustis on Oct. 24. 1884. I would appreciate any help in finding an obituary for Caleb. Since he was a prominent citizen of Kansas his obituary may have ran in a Kansas newspaper. Margaret's notice of death ran in the Coffeyville Journal on November 8, 1884. I have a transcript of that obituary. Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
