The Coffeyville Daily Journal Friday May 12, 1933 Walter A. BUEL, chief of the Parsons fire department, last evening, began his 38th year of continuous service with the department. On May 11, 1896, he became a member of the department and six years later he was named chief, a position he has held since that time.
