The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Wednesday July 28, 1937 Funeral Services Held Today for E.D. Wolverton. Funeral services for E. DeWitt WOLVERTON, long time employe of the the local post office, who passed away at the home early Monday morning, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Presbyterian church. The Rev. Royal Humbert, pastor of the First Christian church, had charge of the rites. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery. Active pallbearers were: J.R. BARNHART, F.M. DeVORE, N.C. FELDMAN, J.N. MASTERS, Dr. F.C. TAYLOR and L.L. VROOMAN. Thirty-three postal employes, associates of the deceased acted as honorary pallbearers as die dmember of the Knights Templar, Masonic order, I.O.O.F, and the King's Daughters class of the First Presbyterian church.
