The Independence Daily Reporter Saturday September 18, 1937 Announce Birth of Son. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn SWEARINGEN of rural Independence are the parents of a son born last night at 6:45 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Swearingen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George D. SWALLEY west of town. The baby weighed nine pounds. He has been named Harold Lyndon. Mrs. Swearingen and the baby are getting along nicely.
