The Independence Daily Reporter Thursday October 7, 1937 Last Rites Held. Last rites for Nils P. ROBERTSON, 86, who died at his home, 10 miles west of Independence, Monday afternoon, were held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Jackson Funeral chapel with Rev. Marion Simmons of Elk City in charge. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Jim Laird or anyone in Montgomery Co. I need a help with a marriage lookup. In putting together some documentation I noticed that I had failed to get a record of my parents marriage which took place in Coffeyville, Montgomery, KS. I believe this would have been in 1947 or 1948. The marriage would have been between: William J. Jones and Joyce E. Ramsey I would appreciate any help in this matter. Am trying to put together documentation for an SAR application and need the date of the marriage.
