The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Monday August 25, 1937 Lorane Gray Darnell Dies Tuesday Afternoon; Grave Funeral Thursday. Lorane Gray DARNELL, six-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newton Darnell of Sycamore passed away at Mercy hospital here at 3:45 Tuesday afternoon after having been seriously ill for the past few days suffering from pneumonia. The child was born February 25, in Sycamore. Funeral services will be held at the grave in Mount Hope cemetery Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The burial will be under the direction of the Potts Funeral home.
