    3. The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Tuesday September 21, 1937 Death Claims Jasper Wilkins. Dies Here at Home of Daughter, Mrs. J.P. Ramey. Jasper Wilkins, 72, died at 3:05 Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.P. RAMEY, 504 North Ninth. He had been in failing health for seven years. Mr. Wilkins, a widower, came here four years ago to make his home with his daughter. He was born June 12, 1865 near St. Joseph, Mo., where he spent his earl life, later residing in Iowa and Southern Missouri. He had been a farmer for many years. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. A.W. PRATHER of Council Grove, Kas., Mrs. Ray SHERBUNDY, of Joplin, Mo., Mrs. Calvin GOFORTH, of Berryville, Ark., Mrs. J.P. RAMEY of Independence and one son, Tully Wilkins of Glincaster, Colo. Two brothers, Dick of Los Angles, Calif., and Doc of Morrisville, Colo., also survive. The body is in the Jackson Funeral home pending the arrival of relatives.
