The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Wednesday September 22, 1937 Rites for James Lewis. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Jefferson, Kansas, church for James Albert LEWIS, pioneer resident of this section who died at his home Monday evening. Rev. Waters, Tyro and Jefferson minister, was in charge and burial was in Fairview cemetery in Coffeyville under the direction of the Webb Funeral Home of this city.
