The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Tuesday September 21, 1937 Native Of City Dies At Home. Funeral Thursday for Miss Dorothy Daniels. Miss Dorothy DANIELS, 23, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Daniels, route two, died at the family home Monday afternoon following an illness of nine days. Death resulted from complications following a nervous breakdown. Dorothy was born June 12, 1914 in Independence and had spent her entire lifetime here. She attended Independence high school, having graduated in 1935. She is survived by her parents. Two sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted by R.W. Wisner Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Jackson funeral chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
