The Coffeyville Journal Montgomery County Tuesday September 7, 1999 John White. John Lindberg WHITE, 72, of Cedar Vale, died Monday (Sept.6,199) at Jane PHillips Memorial Hospital, Bartlesville. He was born May 24, 1927, in Cedar Vale, to John and Charlotte (Allen) White. He had worked as a welder and was a veteran of World War II. He married Marian Joann KING on March 7, 1959, at Pittsburg. Survivors include his wife, Marian; three sons, John of Overland Park, Phillip of Dubai, United Arab Republic, Jim of Seymour, Ind.; one daughter, Johanna White of Clinton, N.J.; one brother, Frank White of Cedar Vale; one sister, Ferne of Cedar Vale; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Wauneta United Methodist Church, Wauneta. Burial will be in Round Mound Cemetery, rural Wauneta. Graves-Baird Funeral Home, Sedan is in charge of arrangements.
