    3. The Coffeyville Journal Montgomery County Wednesday September 1, 1999 Marie Plecker. Marie Parrish PLECKER, 88, of Tulsa, died Tuesday night (Aug. 31, 1999) at Rolling Hills Care Center, Catoosa. Mrs. Plecker was born Feb. 28, 1911, near Coody's Bluff, Okla., to Alvin HENDERSON and Mary Maude (Roberts) Parrish. She grew up in the Alluwe area, and married Vern Stewart Plecker on Jan. 24, 1931, at Ft. Scott. After their marriage, the couple moved to Nowata. In 1936, they relocated to Bartlesville, and lived there until moving to Tulsa in 1939. The couple moved from Tulsa to Ooloah Lake later. Mr. Plecker preceded his wife in death, March 29, 1974. Mrs. Plecker returned to Tulsa in ????. Before retirement, Mrs. Plecker had been employed for 20 years with Safeway Stores District Office, Tulsa. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Oologah. Mrs. Plecker was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and had been active in the Senior Citizens of Claremore. Survivors include one daughter, Rae LEET of Broken Arrown; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Plecker was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon. Services are pending, and burial will be in Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service.
