The Independence Daily Reporter Monday August 30, 1937 Twins Born.--Mr. and Mrs. A.J. LAIRD, 1024 West Chestnut are the parents of twin girls born last Friday morning at the home. Nancy Joan weighed 5 3/4 pounds, while her sister, Carolyn Sue weighed seven pounds. The mother and her two daughters are reported to be getting along very well.
