I do not know if those Tanners are related. The Walter Eugene Tanner that I am researching was born near Nevada, MO, I think. He was born 1876. He was a Baptist minister. He lived near San Francisco for awhile. In about 1916, he moved to Springfield, MO. I do not know much about what happened after that. In the early 1930s, he lived in Cherryvale, KS. Someone online told me that he died in Kansas in the early 30s. I do not know if this is true. He is hard to find in the census or anywhere else.
