Tharp and Lorenzo D. Minear. Lorenzo was a contractor there in the early 1900's, moved to Pawhuska OK and died in 1910 and was taken back to Coffeyville to be buried. Any info would be wonderful. Claude of Independence, where she has become well known throughout the community. Mr. and Mrs. Brothers will make their home in Cherryvale, where Mr. Brothers is a member of the grocery firm of C.C. Brothers and Sons.

BITTERS, both of this city, was solemnized last Tuesday, June 3rd, at Nowata, George H. Williams of that city performing the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Akers, 911 West Ninth street. Since moving to Coffeyville with her parents about seven months ago she has been attending school here, where she has a host of friends. The groom is also well known, his folks living near Tyro. Miss Flossie Bitters of the Union Traction offices is a sister.

Cody of Independence, died Thursday in a sanitarium at Colorado Springs, Colo., where she went two weeks ago in the hopes of regaining her health. She was born in Ohio twenty years ago and the family has lived at Independence the past two years. She is survived by her parents and five brothers.
