The Coffeyville Daily Journal Montgomery County Tuesday April 26, 1933 A hard-boiled pet squirrel which recently ran amuck and bit several persons at Neodesha has been kept in "solitary" at the Neodesha fire station to be observed for possible development of rabies, but yesterday, Dr. A.P. WILLIAMS, city heatlh officer, said apparently the creature was only "ornery." The squirrel was taken to the timber and released.
