The Coffeyville Daily Journal Montgomery County Tuesday May 9, 1933 Edward HARTMAN, who formerly lived on a farm south of Neodesha in the Fairview community, died Saturday night at Wichita, after a year's illness. Burial took place at Neodesha today.

They may have also been involved in ownership of a boarding house or hotel. Family raised horses while in Kansas. My grandfather Edward McConnell was born in 1884 at Coffeyville, Kansas and died in 1964.I have a photo of my grandfather that was taken in about 1887 or 1888, he is wearing a knickerbocher outfit and his right eye is missing due to a wood chopping accident. The marriage of Miss Lena Dell AUSTIN and William Lloyd PERRY, both of this city, was solemnizedat 10:30 o'clock this morning in the parsonage of the First Christian church at Independence, the Rev. Theodore B. Dunton officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by Miss Aileen Carey, Eldon Ozbun, and Betty Jeanne Rugh, the last named of Bartlesville, Okla. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Austin, 1115 West Fourth stret, and she was a member of the 1931 graduating class of the Coffeyville senior high school. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Perry, 1514 West Fifth street, attended the local schools, and he is now employed at the Texaco service station No. 4.
