Carl WILEY, 509 South Twelfth, who has been recuperating from a major operation has been dismissed and taken to his home. Pauline FOSTER, daughter of Bert Foster of Elk City was dismissed today and removed to her home. Miss Foster has been receiving treatment for injuries received in an auto accident east of Independence some time ago. Rosalle TETRICK, 405 North Tenth, who underwent a tonsillectomy yesterday was dismissed today.

    3. The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Saturday Septmber 25, 1937 Funeral Services. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Potts funeral home for William Franklin BONESTEEL, former Montgomery county resident, who died early this week at Alva, Oklahoma. Rev. Harold Humbert was in charge and burial was in Robbins cemetery.

    3. The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Saturday September 25, 1937 Claude M. Frazee Dies. Claude M. FRAZEE, a native of Cedar Vale, was found dead Friday afternoon in his motor car, near Burbank, Okla., according to a report in this morning's Wichita Eagle. Carbon monoxide fumes are said to have caused death. Funeral services were to be held in Wichita, his recent home, late today.

    3. The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Saturday September 25, 1937 Asa M. Baxley. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at Neodesha for Asa M. BAXLEY, 82, father of Mrs. Mary WILKES, of Neodesha, who died Friday morning at the Wilson county hospital. He had been in ill health for several months. Another daughter, Mrs. Rosa ROSS, of Joplin and four sons, W.M. and D.F. Baxley of Parsons, Charles A. Baxley of Coffeyville and L.R. Baxley of Kansas City, survive.

    3. The Independence Daily Reporter Saturday September 25, 1937 Woman Killed In Accident. Mrs. J.S. Morrow Falls From Car When Door Opens. Mrs. Mary E. MORROW, 72, wife of James S. Morrow, of Cherryvale, and a sister, of Tom BIGGS, of Independence, was fatally injured about 10:30 this morning when she fell out of an automobile while enroute to Coffeyville. The mishap occurred two miels north of Coffeyville on Highway 169. According to a statement, by Mr. Morrow, who was driving the car, Mrs. Morrow was riding with her right hand on the door and was jerked out of the car when the wind blew the door open. Mr. Morrow ran back and carried his wife to the care and drove to the Southeastern hospital in Coffeyville, where physicians said she had been dead for several minutes. The body was removed to the Skinner Funral home in Coffeyville and later taken to the McDaniel Funeral home in Cherryvale. Funeral arrangements were incomplete this afternoon. Dr. W.S. HUDIBURG, county coroner, went to Coffeyville this afternoon to ascertaiin the cause of death.

    3. The Independence Daily Reporter Montgomery County Thursday September 23, 1937 H.C. Linebaugh. Funeral services were held this afternoon at Moline for H.C. LINEBAUGH, 93, who served in Company M, Sixteenth Kansas Cavalry during the Civil war. Linebaugh died in a Neodesha hospital Tuesday following an extended illness. Three daughters and a son survive.

Last rites for Jasper WILKINS, 72, who died here Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.P. RAMEY, 504 North Ninthy, will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Berryville, Ark., his former home. The Jackson Mortuary will have charge of the services.
