The Coffeyville Journal Montgomery County Thursday September 9, 1999 Justine Junge. Lois "Justine" JUNGE, 82, of Joplin, died Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 7, 1999) at Freeman Hospital, Joplin. Mrs. Junge was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Pike County, Ill., to William R. and Mary Louise (Wadkins) SEABORN. She grew up in Coffeyville, attended both high school and junior college there. She married Nolan Junge on June 20, 1936. The couple divorced in 1972. Mrs. Junge attended business school in St. Louis during the 1960's. She lived and worked in St. Louis for about 10 years. She was employed there with Con P. Curran Printing Co., and AAA Insurance. After returning to Joplin in the 1970's she worked for the Area Agency for Aging, working for them at the American Red Cross, Social Security office, and her last job in th 1990's for Job Service. Survivors include a daughter, Lorraine WHITTINGTON, of Joplin; a son, Gordon of Van Buren, Ark.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Junge was preceded in death by a son, R. Edson "Eddie" Junge. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Parker Mortuary, Joplin.

The Coffeyville Journal Montgomery County Wednesday September 8, 1999 Eleanor Schell. Eleanor L. SCHELL, 82, of Buena Park, Calif., formerly of Coffeyville, died August 27, 1999, from heart disease. Mrs. Schell was born Dec. 24, 1917, in Liberty to Dan and Clara (MILLER) O'MEARA. She married Earl Schell in 1934, in Independence. Mr. Schell preceded his wife in death in 1979. Mrs. Schell was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Pat BARTLE of Buena Park, and Peggy DAHLE of Nipoma, Calif.; one son, Stephen of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Mildred HYATT and Margaret CILLESSEN, both of Coffeyville; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Schell was preceded in death by her husband, Earl and by two brothers. Rosary was held August. 30, and Mass of Christian Burial was held Aug. 31, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, Buena Park.

The Coffeyville Journal Montgomery County Tuesday September 7, 1999 John White. John Lindberg WHITE, 72, of Cedar Vale, died Monday (Sept.6,199) at Jane PHillips Memorial Hospital, Bartlesville. He was born May 24, 1927, in Cedar Vale, to John and Charlotte (Allen) White. He had worked as a welder and was a veteran of World War II. He married Marian Joann KING on March 7, 1959, at Pittsburg. Survivors include his wife, Marian; three sons, John of Overland Park, Phillip of Dubai, United Arab Republic, Jim of Seymour, Ind.; one daughter, Johanna White of Clinton, N.J.; one brother, Frank White of Cedar Vale; one sister, Ferne of Cedar Vale; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Wauneta United Methodist Church, Wauneta. Burial will be in Round Mound Cemetery, rural Wauneta. Graves-Baird Funeral Home, Sedan is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Palmer is a 1988 graduate of Labette County High School and a 1992 graduate of Pittsburg State University. She is employed by Funk Manufacturing in accounting. Mr. Shire graduated from Fredonia High School in 1990 and from PSU in 1994. He works as a network administrator at Funk. The couple plan to marry October 2, 1999.

She is employed as a scholarship coordinator at Wichita State Univesity in Wichita. Mr. Wuggazer is a gradutate of Phillipsburg High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a BA in business administration and masters of accountancy. He works as a senior accountant for Baird, Kurtz, and Dobson in Wichita. The couple plan to marry on Dec. 11, 1999.

Amber Michelle RICHARDSON and Andrew Lawrence RAMOS were united in marriage June 12, 1999 in the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville. The 4:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Major Charles Tullis of Fort Riley. Parents of the bride are Ron and Janet Richardson of Coffeyville. The groom's parents are Violet Ramos of Copperas, Texas, and the late Facundo Ramos. Maid of honor was Cari Misch of Manhattan. Bridesmaids were Ashly Richardson of Coffeyville, Emily Melchiori of Bartlesville, Okla., and Amy Rice of Shawnee, all sisters of the bride, and Jodi Evans of Fayetteville, Ark., and Allison Morse of Kansas City. Flower girl was Taylor Love of Blackwell, Okla., cousin of the bride. Best man was Mike Mielcarek of Manhattan. Groomsmen were Brian Melchiori of Bartlesville and Steve Rice of Shawnee, brother-in-law of the bride and Jon Dietrich of Manhattan, Stephen Maguth of Austin, Texas, and Dennis Maguth of Arlington, Texas. Ring bearer was Austin Stansbury of Dearing. Guests were seated by Mike Mieclarek and Jon Dietrich. Candle lighters were Stephanie Fisk of Andover and Deanna Meador of Newkirk, Okla. Wedding music was provided by Susan Morgan of South Coffeyville, and soloists, Brooke Austin of Cherryvale and Frank Long of Coffeyville. Guest book attendant was Tiffany Richmond of Blackwell, cousin of the bride. The wedding reception was held in the church parlor. Assiting at the reception were April Engstrom of Pittsburg, Heather Bell of Windsor, Colo., and Marci Higbie of Miami, Okla. A dance was held at the Coffeyville Community College after the reception. Following a honeymoon in the Grand Cayman Islands, the couple are making their home in Sierra Vista, Ariz.

Mrs. Holestine was born Aug 14, 1908 in ????? TO Edward Anderson and Betty (Spencer) Anderson. She was a graduate of Independence High School. On MAy 28, 1934 she married Edward Holestine in Liberal, Mo. He preceded her in death, April 25, 1988. Mrs. Holestine was a homemaker/seamstress and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at RLDS Community Church of Christ in rural Independence, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence. Friends may call 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Family will receive friends at Webb and Rodrick Funeral Home Tuesday 6-8 p.m. The family would welcome memorials to RLDS Community Church of Christ.

The Coffeyville Journal Montgomery County Wednesday September 1, 1999 Marie Plecker. Marie Parrish PLECKER, 88, of Tulsa, died Tuesday night (Aug. 31, 1999) at Rolling Hills Care Center, Catoosa. Mrs. Plecker was born Feb. 28, 1911, near Coody's Bluff, Okla., to Alvin HENDERSON and Mary Maude (Roberts) Parrish. She grew up in the Alluwe area, and married Vern Stewart Plecker on Jan. 24, 1931, at Ft. Scott. After their marriage, the couple moved to Nowata. In 1936, they relocated to Bartlesville, and lived there until moving to Tulsa in 1939. The couple moved from Tulsa to Ooloah Lake later. Mr. Plecker preceded his wife in death, March 29, 1974. Mrs. Plecker returned to Tulsa in ????. Before retirement, Mrs. Plecker had been employed for 20 years with Safeway Stores District Office, Tulsa. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Oologah. Mrs. Plecker was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and had been active in the Senior Citizens of Claremore. Survivors include one daughter, Rae LEET of Broken Arrown; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Plecker was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon. Services are pending, and burial will be in Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service.
