Pierce, Tuesday evening, Sept. 7, 1943, at 8 o'clock. Death occurred at the family home, 414 W. South street. The deceased was born at Innavale, Nebr., April 15, 1881, and was aged at the time of his passing 62 years, 3 months and 22 days. His marriage to Ella May Holloway took place Aug. 8, 1909, at Elm Springs, Ark. To this union six chldren were born, who are left with their mother to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father. The children are: Gladys Hyman, Beloit; Clarence Pearce, Smith Center, Kas.; Gertrude Hyman, Beloit; Chas. Pierce, Ft. Warren, Wyo.; Dorothy and Bobby of the home. Six grandchildren also survive.
