He was the son of Thomas Jefferson and Mary Alice (Patton) Duncan and she was the daughter of William and Lavina Jane (Rankin) Horn. I have no additional information on the Horns, but I know that Thomas Jefferson was the son of Nathaniel and Mary R (Jones) Duncan and Mary Alice was the daughter of John and Sarah (Randall) Patton.
