They married in Mitchell Co., city of Beloit Aug 1884. She reportedly had two sons and was pregnant with a third when she had a house fire in 1889 and caught her clothes on fire while pregnant with her third child. She is believed to have gone outside to put out the fire, and died, most likely of burns, smoke and cold (it was winter). They baby boy also did not survive. Richard got remarried and moved to Oregon. I have his and his second wifes death certificates. Would like more info on Kate, where she is buried, and in obtaining a copy of her obit if possible. Would be willing to share info with others.
