From James A. STREETER and Wife to W. W. MCCRACKEN Filed for Record on the 10th day of September 1888, at 3 o’clock P.M. J. W. BARLESTON Register of Deeds. This Indenture, Made this 29th day of August A.D. 1888 between James A. STREETER and Adda B. STREETER his wife of Riley County, in the State of Kansas of the first part, and W. W. MCCRACKEN of Mitchell County, in the State of Kansas of the second part: Witnesseth, That said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred and – DOLLARS, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY unto said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all the following-described REAL ESTATE, situated in the County of Mitchell and State of Kansas to wit: Lot number twelve (12) and the East Thirty five (35) of lot number Eleven (11) in Block number Three (3) of Elliots addition to the city of Beloit Kansas as per recorded plat thereof. To have and to Hold the Same, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, forever: And said James A. STREETER and Adda B. STREETER for their heirs, executors or administrators, do hereby covenant, promise and agree, to and with said party of the second part, that at the delivery of these presents they are lawfully seized in their own right, of an absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance, in fee simple, of and in all and singular the above granted and described premises, with the appurtenances; that the same are free, clear, discharged and unencumbered of and from all former and other grants, titles, charges, estates, judgments, taxes, assessments and incumbrances, of what nature or kind soever; except one first mortgage of one hundred and sixty four dollars dated Oct 22 1887 and that they will WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND the same unto the said party of the second part, h heirs and assigns, against said parties of the first part, their heirs, and all and every person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same. STREETER and Adda B. STREETER husband and wife who are personally known to me to be the same persons who executed the within instrument of writing, and such person have duly acknowledged the execution of the same.
