MALONE State of Kansas, Mitchell County, ss. This instrument was filed for record on the 10 day of Sept A.D. 1901, at 1 o’clock P.M. C. DRAKER, Register of Deeds. This Indenture, Made this 15th day of August A.D. 1901, whereby Samuel CARTER a widower, quitclaims to John N. MALONE the following described lands in the County of Mitchell, State of Kansas, to wit: That part of the South Half of the North West quarter and the North Half of the South West quarter of Section Thirty-three in Township Seven Range Six West of the 6th P.M. Situated North of the Center of the Solomon River, containing 105 acres more or less For the sum of one DOLLAR who will forever defend the title thereto, against all lawful claims whatsoever Samuel CARTER State of Kansas, County of Mitchell, ss. BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this 15th day of August A.D. 1901, before me, the undersigned, a Notary Public, in and for the County and State aforesaid, came Samuel CARTER a widower who is personally known to be to be the same person who executed the forgoing instrument of writing, and as such person duly acknowledged the execution of the same.
