Leon CARTER, a resident of Mitchell County, State of Kansas, since 1871 on being first duly sown on oath deposes and says: That Elmer GRIFFIN, the grantee in the Warranty-Deed bearing date October 21” 1913 and duly recorded in Vo. 36, of deeds, at pages 126, in the office of the Register of deeds of Mitchell County, Kansas which said deed conveys the W1/2 SW1/4 and NE1/4 SW1/4 and NW1/4, all in Sec. 14 Twp. 7, Range 6, West of 6th P.M. Mitchell County. Ks. and the Elmer J. GRIFFIN, the grantor in the Warranty-deed dated February 6th. 1914 and recorded in Vol. 36, at page #306 of the deed records of said county and conveying the above described real property are names representing one and the same person.
