F. DARROW, a single man, to Chas A. ROBERTSON STATE OF KANSAS, MITCHELL COUNTY, ss. This instrument was filed for record on the 9th day of Feb. A.D. 1915, at 8 o’clock A.M. J. W. MCGHEE This Indenture, Made this 4th day of Feb. A.D. 1915, between J. F. DARROW, a single man, of Mitchell County, in the State of Kansas, of the first part, and Chas. A. ROBERTSON of Mitchell County, in the State of Kansas, of the second part: WITNESSETH, That said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Seventy Three hundred and no/100 DOLLARS, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all the following-described real estate, situated in the County of Mitchell and State of Kansas, to-wit: The East Sixty Two Rods (62) of the Southwest Quarter of Section Three (3) Township Eight (8) Range (6) $7.50 Documentary Revenue Stamps J. F. D. 2-8-1915. To Have and to Hold the Same, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, forever. And said party of the first part for himself, his heirs, executors or administrators, does hereby covenant, promise and agree, to and with said party of the second part, that at the delivery of these presents he is lawfully seized in his own right, of an absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance, in fee simple, of and in all and singular the above-granted and described premises, with the appurtenances; that the same are free, clear, discharged and unencumbered of and from all former and other grants, titles, charges, estates, judgments, taxes, assignments and incumbrances, of what nature or kind soever; and that he will WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND the same unto said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against said party of the first part, his heirs, and all and every person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same. In Witness Whereof, The said party of the first part, has hereunto set his hand, the day and year first above written. J. F. DARROW STATE OF KANSAS, Mitchell County, ss. BE IT REMEMBERED< That on this 4th day of Feb., A.D. 1915, before me, the undersigned, a Notary Public in and of the County and State aforesaid came J. F. DARROW, a single man who is personally known to me to be the same person who executed the within instrument of writing, and such person duly acknowledged the execution of the same.
