THIS INDENTURE Made this 29 day of December A.D. 1916, whereby Alonzo CASE and L. P. CASE his wife QUITCLAIM to Leon CARTER the following described lands in the County of Mitchell, State of Kansas, to-wit: The Northeast quarter of the Northeast quart of the Southeast quarter of Section One, township eight, range six west; or better described as beginning at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of section one, township eight, range six west: Thence west eight hundred and ninety six (896) feet; thence south five hundred eight and 8/10 (508 8/10) feet; thence east eight hundred ninety six (896) feet; thence north five hundred eight and 8/10 (508 8/10) feet to place of beginning, containing ten acres more or less. For the sum of Twenty five Dollars. Alonzo CASE L. P. CASE STATE OF KANSAS County of Phillips, ss. Be it Remembered, That on this 29 day of December A.D. 1916 before me, the undersigned, a Notary Public, in and for the County and State aforesaid, came Alonzo CASE and L. P. CASE his wife who are personally known to me to be the same persons who executed the foregoing instrument of writing, and as such persons duly acknowledged the execution of the same.
