From Samuel DARROW & wife to A. W. SHULL Asherville Kans State of Kansas, Mitchell County, ss. This instrument was filed for record on the 22nd day of Nov, A.D. 1906, at 4:30 o’clock P.M. J. W. MCGHEE, This Indenture, Made this 17th day of May, A.D. 1906, between Samuel DARROW and Eleanor DARROW Husband & Wife of Mitchell county, in the State of Kansas, of the first part, and A. W. SHULL of Mitchell County, in the State of Kansas, of the second Part, WITNESSETH, That said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Seventy Five and no DOLLARS, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all the following-described real estate, situated in the County of Mitchell and State of Kansas, to wit: Beginning at a point Six hundred and ninety six (696) feet South and thirty nine (39) feet west of the North east corner of the North West quarter (1/4) of Section thirty four (34) Township Seven (7) South of Range Six (6) west, Thence West one hundred & fifty (150) feet Thence North twenty five (25) feet Thence east one hundred & fifty (150) feet Thence South twenty five (25) feet to place of beginning TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, forever. And said Samuel DARROW & Eleanor DARROW for themselves heirs, executors or administrators, do hereby covenant, promise and agree, to and with said part of the second part, that at the delivery of these presents they are lawfully seized in their own right, of an absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance, in fee simple, of and in all and singular the above granted and described premises, with the appurtenances; that the same are free, clear, discharged and unencumbered of and from all former and other grants, titles, charges, estates, judgments, taxes, assignments and incumbrances, of what nature or kind soever; and that they will WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND the same unto said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against said part of the first part, heirs, and all and every person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or claim the same. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands the day and year first above written. Samuel DARROW Eleanor DARROW State of Kansas, Mitchell County, ss. BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this 17 day of May, A.D. 1906, before me, the undersigned, a Justice of the Peace in and for the County and State aforesaid, cam Samuel DARROW & Eleanor DARROW his wife who are personally known to me to be the same persons who executed the within instrument of writing, and such persons duly acknowledged the execution of the same.
