These 2 married in 1885. Their son was Vernon who was born in 1893. Looking for any information on this family. Capitola was from MN. In 1899 she married John Davis in Boise, Idaho.
I've "rescued" two old photographs, the first is a photograph which includes Nettie DAVIS which was taken at the Misses O'Donnell Studio in Beloit, Kansas. Nettie is pictured with three others, however, they are not identified. The photo was likely taken in the 1890's and Nettie appears to be in her 40's or 50's at the time. On the back of the photo it says "Aunt of Betty CAVE". The second photo is a wedding photograph taken by the Palace Railroad Photograph Studio which doesn't include a location since the photographer traveled. This photograph was probably also taken in the 1890's and includes five people, S.V CAVE; Bettie CAVE; Charles DAVIS (Cousin of Bettie); G.C. DAVIS; and Villa (BAKER) WERTZ. It appears that the CAVE's are the couple whose wedding day is celebrated with this photograph. All of the parties in the photograph appear to be in their 20's at the time. I'm hoping that someone from the family can be located so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

Researching the family of Mahlon and Nancy (TODD) WHITE who lived in Logan Tsp., Mitchell Co., KS, in 1880 and Turkey Creek Tsp., Mitchell Co., KS, in 1900. I have not been able to find them in the 1910 census of these two townships. They may have died or moved on to other locations. If any readers of this forum have additional information about Mahlon and Nancy, I would appreciate having it for my TODD family history. Be glad to share what I've compiled about them. Bob Saunders, Salem, OR

I am trying to see if I have any cousins in Beloit KS. My grandmother, Mattie Mae HOWLAND Hendricks was born there and I understand there are still quite a few Howlands still living in that area. In particular, I would be interested in knowing if they might have heard who her parents-in-law were. She married David Franklin Hendricks around 1900-1901 and from what I can garner from the genealogy books, her parents also moved to the Wakita OK area sometime during or after the first OK Land Run. Any and all help would be appreciated. Eilene Cook
