I found a Waldon RT Jacobson, born 1869 in Nebraska, father born in Denmark, mother born in Norway. He lived in Portland, OR in 1930 with wife, Luster (born in Colorado, her father born in Sweden, her mother in Illinois), and son Karl, 18, born in Oregon. Waldon was a contractor for the city sewer system. [email protected] wrote: Hej hej list! I've not done much genealogy work in Kansas, but I do know that lots of Swedish people settled there. I'm looking for emigration information on a Jacob Jacobson, born in Sweden, and immigrating to Kansas. Not sure it even your county! In Kansas, he has a son, that all I know at this point, there might have been more kids, but the one I know is named Waldon. I'm looking to see if I can get his emigration date and thereby connect to the Sweden List (which is just absolutely awesome!) and connect to where he was born in Sweden. Also, I think that Waldon ends up in Turlock, CA, but not sure if that's where he died. I met his son today, and he was probably 55+, that's a guess! Any help appreciated! Sorry, I have no access to Ancestry at the moment, I did look at FamilySearch, and there was a Jacob Jacobson there but no clue if it's the one I'm looking for. Heh, Happy Fourth of July! to all, and any help appreciated!
