    1. [KSMCPHER] Visiting Canton & Spring Valley
    2. M. L. Wilser
    3. Hi there... I am new to this list. After a conference in Oklahoma City I intend to visit Canton, but will have only a day-- the Sunday Prairie Days ends! I will stay Sunday night and leave Monday afternoon. I'm trying to make the most of my limited time there. I will get there the evening of the 3rd of June. Can anyone suggest how to reach (a) someone who might be a volunteer to see the prairie? and (b) someone who can show me the Spring Valley cemetery? I have a great-grandmother buried there. Thanks so much for any help making a connection in Canton! ==Marjorie Wilser in California, whose grandmother was born in Spring Valley

    3. http://www.cyberkraft.com/maxwell/ This site will tell you about the prairie tours. Spring Valley Cemetery is 3 miles south and 2 miles east of Canton. I have not been there so can't tell you more. Ask at Maxwell for better directions. Canton is a small town, so if you need a motel, find one in McPherson. Enjoy your visit. Nancy

    3. Nancy, Thank you! I've got the hotel and I emailed Maxwell (the reserve)! I'm actually beginning to get excited now. ==Marjorie On 5/23/07, Nancy John <[email protected]> wrote: > http://www.cyberkraft.com/maxwell/ > > This site will tell you about the prairie tours. > > Spring Valley Cemetery is 3 miles south and 2 miles east of Canton.
