Hello list, I just returned from a genealogy trip to Marysville, KS. I can't give enough praise to Barb F. who works at the society and also to Lloyd. These two people are wonderful help and if you are lucky enough to have ancestors in this county, you can be assured that you will surely get your money's worth of information from this society. If there is information to be found, Barb will find it! She's truly amazing! The old courthouse is absolutely beautiful and I encourage all who can go there to see it to do so! This is where the historical society is located. If anyone has questions about visiting, contact me, and I'll be glad to tell you what I know. We stayed at a Best Western in Marysville and the rooms were very nice and clean. The help was wonderful and when they knew what I was in town looking for, they gave me contacts to call. In fact, everyone in the town of Marysville were extremely friendly and very helpful! We would gladly go back there just to visit! Lynn/Florida
