I am researching the following Cain/Caine/Cane/Kain families: John Cain born abt 1794 in probably Pennsylvania and married Elizabeth Brandt Mouler/Mohler Cain in 1815 in Fairfield Co. Ohio. She is the daughter of Lodwick Brandt. John and Elizabeth's children were: Lewis, James, John, Isaiah. (Elizabeth was married first to Jacob Mohler and had the following children:Eliza, Mary, Martin and Jacob) Lewis' married Sarah Keenan in 1852 in Perry co. Ohio. Their children were: Samuel, Benjamin, Alva, Mary, William, charles, Daniel, Martha, Emily Letitia. After the death of Lewis the family moved to Crawford Co. Illinois and then some moved on to Clay Co. and Cloud Co. Kansas in 1880. James Cain married Ann Maria Deckor in 1838. Their children are: Mary, Henry, Sarah, Emily, Ellenora, Caroline, Harriett, Robert, Catharine, William, Laura. Isaish married Cecelia Caroline Reynolds in 1842 in Perry Co. Ohio. Their children are: John, Henry, Alexander, Samuel, Wallace, Frank, and Cora. Anyone researching these Cains?
