They are no relation to me, but I found them when I was lookiing for my great-grandfather, who is in the same cemetery. The city hall office in axtell has a pretty complete book on Rosehill, and they are very helpful in giving out info over the phone. If I remember correctly, John was buried there with both of his wives, Elizabeth and Henrietta, the daughter Rowena and a son named Frank. Also there was an older woman I assumed to be his mother buried in the same plot, by the name of Susanna. At one time I had all of these dates written down, but I do not know right offhand where they are, as it turned out they weren't related to me. I live in Topeka, where the State Historical Society is, and there are a large number of old newspapers here. Find out dates, and I will gladly look up obits for you. I also recall that John was listed in the History of Marshall County Book pri! nted in the 1880s, and I have run across him in various papers. He was fairly prominent in the Axtell Area. The graves were very nice and are well preserved.Write me at j.j.livingston@juno.com if you want more information.
