Hello, Is anyone out there researching the Beaty family? I'm a descendant of Major Beaty and Elizabeth Watson. They were early settlers (1850s) of the Vermillion area from Brown Co, IN. They had a son Samuel J Beaty that married Claudia Randall, and a daughter Lorena that married Frank Cannon. Their youngest son was William Watson Beaty that married Clara Root. Two twins Della and Robert Beaty died young. There also was a J.F. Watson that was Elizabeth Watson's brother that accompanied them to Kansas. Does anyone recognize any of these names?
