Looking for death info and obit, cemetery if possible for James and Jane Massey. James b. 1799-died before 1880 census of Marshall Co-Center Twp. Jane b. 1810-died unknown Many thanks K Hribal
I checked the Death Index for Jane, but no listings. James died a little too early to make it to the Marshall Co. Death Index. You can write to the Marshall Co. Historical Society at mchs@mvleadvocate.com and ask them to check their Cemetery cardfile. They maintain a cardfile for all burials in Marshall Co. If they are buried there, they should be in the file. As for an obituary, once you've established a death date, they may also have newspapers on file for that time frame and can help with an obituary. Good luck!
