My Great Grandfather, James Gray, was a sheriff in Marshall County during the 1870 to 1880 period. He was in the town of Marysville. I doi not know if he was the county sheriff or a town sheriff. I have some information on this such as election results and etc. But I am trying to find picture of him if at all possible. and I thought perhaps since he was a sheriff a picture may exist somewhere. If anyone can offer me some clues as where I may find some information on him I would appreciate it very much. Frank Hotaling Puzzledfrank@comcast.net -------- Frank. My great grandfather was a probate judge in Marysville at the same time. The Marshall County Historical Society and/or the Kansas State Historical Society may have something. I was able to obtain a bio and some other information, but I haven't located a photo of my great grandftather either, yet. My great grandfather was Judge Hickman P. Wells. You can write to them online and they will respond to you and send information and a bill if they have anything. Denise Wells
